Fall has officially arrived and is in full swing. Although we love a long, hot summer, we have to admit our love for layers (and the beautiful colour show Mother Nature provides us before blanketing us in white doesn't hurt either!)

As the weather continues to cool, the shop starts to fill with new merchandise every week to help keep you both stylish and warm throughout these (beautiful) Fall months. 

We’re excited to announce that this week the beloved Mother Denim jeans have arrived (finally!) in three different styles and colours. It’s official, the first day of Autumn has come and gone and the cooler weather has started to hit. So we’ve gone ahead and prepared and pulled a few looks and must have items to help you transition into our favourite fashion season, Fall. 

This light, oatmeal coloured Fillipa K wrap is the perfect transition piece! Light enough to wear now, warm enough to wear until the snow starts to fall. We've paired this jacket with a beautiful new two-tone Krista Norris Co. scarf - because just like you, we love supporting local!

Monday Muse: Emma Watson

As the end of the school year approaches, it's time to reflect on the style and grace of one of our favourite students: Miss. Emma Watson!

Leaving show business after the popularity of he Harry Potter series to study at Brown University, Watson has finally graduated this year and we couldn't be happier for her.

We have seen her grow from a plucky goody-two-shoes with a bushy mane to a beautiful and stylish young woman, with loads of talent to boot.

We love Emma's playful yet sophisticated style. She's not afraid to mix classic pieces and shapes with more trendy items.

Monday Muse: Gwen Stefani

This week we're paying homage to another stylish mama, as we get closer and closer to becoming stylish mamas ourselves, we can't help but take inspiration from these ladies who make mommy-hood look so GOOD.

Today's Monday Muse is probably the most stylin' mama of them all. Having three beautiful children with her rock-star husband, Gwen Stefani's style has resonated with us for every major steps in our lives.

From her blue hair, braces and bindi's in the 90's to making everyone want that ombre dip-dyed wedding dress and pink hair in 2000's. Gwen has always been a trailblazer and has always worn what feels natural to her. It just so happens that everything she wears looks amazing and what feels natural to her is the trend everyone will be talking about all season long.

She hasn't stopped since adding "Mom" to her list of job titles, (Other titles include, but are not limited to:  singer/songwriter/designer) only making herself cooler and more refined and beautiful as she enters her 40's.

We truly cannot get enough of Gwen Stefani, and will probably be following her style lead for the next 20 years as well.

Brunch Bunch Spring 2014

10am to 1pm.  Receive a little discount that morning too on any new spring items.

Travelbug: Stockholm and Filippa K

We may have just got back from sunny LA, but we've got a new destination on our brains.

Stockholm may not have the same weather benefits of California, but what it lacks in tendencies towards the tropical, it makes up for in being effortlessly cool.

Stockholm's cool-factor is way up there. Boasting amazing hotels, restaurants and insane shopping destinations, Stockholm is the perfect destination for the coolest of the cool.

Take for example one of our new lines, Filippa K, is a relative small company with only 200 employees, the brand is sold worldwide with their base being in the aforementioned "Cool Central", Stockholm. They've been in business for over 20 years and earned its stripes by marketing stretchy jeans and simple, well-made basics with details that make the product stand out.

We've acquired some of their amazing leather pouches and tops so comfy you won't want to wear anything else.

We're also loving Stockholm for its focus on the well-made and unique in their buildings and activities.

Hotels like Ett Hem, (above) described as a "…private house and garden in the centre of Stockholm that has been created for people looking for something more personal than a luxury hotel."

Or there's B.A.R. Restaurant that Elle Decor called, "A hot spot [in Stockholm] where the emphasis is on the freshest seafood and steaks."

Stockholm is  a mecca of trendy restaurants and hotels which puts this Scandinavian city on the top of our "Places to visit" list.
