October is shop local month, but we celebrate it all year round! You can find new designs from one of our favourite local designers in store every season. 

So who’s this local designer we speak of, you ask? Ottawa born and raised Krista Norris, of course!

Krista Norris Collection is a Canadian accessories line focused on creating unique and timeless scarves for the adventurous but sophisticated, the spontaneous but composed.

This line, which is inspired by textured fabrics and authentic leathers, was born out of seeing how one item can be incorporated into an outfit, day in and day out.

If you have a passion for scarves (I mean, who doesn’t love cozying up to a super chic, ultra soft, over-sized scarf?!) and for supporting local, you want to try one of these on! In the (Fall) Swing of Things

Fall has officially arrived and is in full swing. Although we love a long, hot summer, we have to admit our love for layers (and the beautiful colour show Mother Nature provides us before blanketing us in white doesn't hurt either!)

As the weather continues to cool, the shop starts to fill with new merchandise every week to help keep you both stylish and warm throughout these (beautiful) Fall months. 

We’re excited to announce that this week the beloved Mother Denim jeans have arrived (finally!) in three different styles and colours. Welcome, Fall

It’s official, the first day of Autumn has come and gone and the cooler weather has started to hit. So we’ve gone ahead and prepared and pulled a few looks and must have items to help you transition into our favourite fashion season, Fall. 

This light, oatmeal coloured Fillipa K wrap is the perfect transition piece! Light enough to wear now, warm enough to wear until the snow starts to fall. We've paired this jacket with a beautiful new two-tone Krista Norris Co. scarf - because just like you, we love supporting local!

Summertime Sadness or Fall Happiness?

Don't get us wrong, we love us a good, hot summer. But when our Pre-Fall collection hit the floors, we got pretty excited about what to wear next. We're already seeing a drop in temperatures and those cool September mornings seem to have arrived a few days early - so you can imagine how thankful we've been for our Pre-Fall over-sized knits and long sleeve dresses!

Sneak Peek: Pre-Fall!

After such a long and (incredibly) cold winter, it's hard to believe Fall is just around the corner. We don't know about you, but we're not quite ready yet. So we went ahead and ordered some pre-Fall merchandise to help us ease into the idea of cooler temperatures (which will, i'm afraid to say, inevitably come).

Once we got our hands on the pre-Fall merchandise, we couldn't help but be excited for cool August evenings and crisp September mornings!
